Kids will squeal with delight

Peppa Pig Live! stage show will be at the State Theater in Playhouse at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Peppa Pig’s Big Splash is a live show featuring Peppa, George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig in a singing, dancing adventure. Tickets range from $22 to $132. For more information, visit playhousesquare.org/.

Author talk, signing

Emily St. John Mandel, who penned Station Eleven, will talk at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Medina Performing Arts Center, Main Stage, 851 Weymouth Road, in Medina. The author will answer questions and discuss her book that is part of the One Book, One Community selection. She will also sign copies of her book. The event is free and open to the public. Philip Anderson Trio to perform

The Philip Anderson Trio will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pub Bricco in the Valley, 1841 Merriman Road, in Akron. The concert is free. Call 330-869-0035. In the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, The Railsplitters will be in concert at the Happy Days Lodge, 500 W. Streetsboro Road, in Peninsula.
