Senior Jemarulin Suggs rushed for 305 yards and three touchdowns, and the host Dragons (1-1) defeated the Spartans (0-2).
The Spartans went ahead 7-0 in the second quarter, but two touchdown runs from Suggs gave the Dragons a 12-7 lead at halftime.
Suggs rushed for a touchdown in the third quarter and Junior Daishawn Brimmage had a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to put the game away.

The visiting Orangemen outscored the Blue Devils 21-14 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the nonleague win.
The Orangemen (2-0) led 9-7 in the fourth quarter before Marquise Bridges ran for a touchdown to give the Orangemen a 16-7 lead.
Tallmadge’s Sam Seeker threw a touchdown pass to Ty Shannon to make the score 16-14, but a 50-yard touchdown pass from Garrett Haverstick and an interception returned for a touchdown gave the Orangemen the win.
Bridges finished with 167 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Orangemen.

Brenner threw touchdown passes to Alex Zelch and Joe Kenyon and finished with 134 yards passing.
Bridges rushed for 97 yards, and Sam Emich had an 8-yard touchdown run for the Indians.

John Keller threw two touchdown passes and Nate George had a 33-yard touchdown run to lead the host Vikings (2-0) over the Leopards (1-1). Brody Hahn threw two touchdown passes and rushed for a touchdown for the Leopards.
