GREEN: A 28-year-old Louisville man died Monday morning after a motorcycle crash in the 5400 block of Mayfair Road.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office said the motorcycle went off the right side of the road and into a field, where it rolled over several times. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mayfair was closed for about three hours after the accident.
The crash remains under investigation, but authorities believe speed was a factor in the accident.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
