Cuyahoga Falls schools might cut teachers, raise fees

CUYAHOGA FALLS: City schools Superintendent Todd Nichols has proposed cutting $2 million in expenses, including eliminating 24 teaching positions, the Cuyahoga Falls News-Press reports.

“This is every superintendent’s worst nightmare,” Nichols said, according to the newspaper.

The superintendent also is calling for cuts to classified staff and supplemental contracts, and increasing fees for technology, sports, band and other activities, the newspaper said.
