Enjoy Grapes Under Glass

The inaugural Grapes Under Glass wine festival runs Friday through Sunday at Heinen’s and Rotunda at the 9 in downtown Cleveland. Events include a Napa Blue Chip tasting at 6:30 p.m. Friday, seminars on Saturday afternoon followed by the main tasting event at 6 p.m., and a Bubbles Brunch at 10 a.m. Sunday. Beatles Cartoonfest in Barberton

The West Theater in Barberton offers up a Beatles Cartoonfest at 8 p.m., with almost four hours of Beatles cartoons and sing-alongs from the 1965 animated series. It’s only $5 adults, $3 seniors and children. http://thewesttheater.com.

Garry Tallent to perform in Kent

Garry Tallent is best known as the bassist for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. He’s now playing smaller venues behind his solo record, Break Time; he described the retro-sounding album to Rolling Stone as “something that could have been made in 1959.” He’ll be at the Kent Stage at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 at the door. 330-677-5005, www.thekentstage.com.

‘Lizzie’ onstage at Ohio Theatre

Baldwin Wallace University’s musical theater program and Playhouse Square team up to present Lizzie, a “rock roadshow retelling” of the Lizzie Borden legend, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 5 and 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday at the Ohio Theatre.
