The Explorers won a tough battle on their home field in an eight-inning battle with the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
Hudson moved to 13-4 on the season. Wadsworth fell to 8-8.

Peter Toula had an RBI double in the top of the ninth inning as the Knights (12-6, 8-2) beat the Tigers in a Suburban League National Conference game.
When the teams played Tuesday, Twinsburg (11-7, 7-5) scored four runs in the fifth inning to defeat host Nordonia 4-3. Ryan Christy (6-0) pitched a complete game for the Tigers, and Chad Szydlowski had two hits and two RBI.

Junior Eric Schilling hit his second home run of the season and sophomore Zackery Meyerson added a home run for the Bulldogs (7-10, 4-7) in a Suburban League National Conference win over the host Bees (8-7, 5-6).
Tallmadge 15, Revere 10
Scott Seeker had a home run, and Zach Boyd had three singles and three RBI for the visiting Blue Devils.
Tallmadge scored five runs in the sixth inning to take the lead and beat the Minutemen in a Suburban League American Conference matchup.
St. Vincent-St. Mary 4, Woodridge 3
Senior Mike Martin (2-1) pitched a complete-game and struck out 12 and the Fighting Irish (10-6) overcame a 3-0 deficit to beat the visiting Bulldogs (8-9).
Jake Margoff had a double, a triple and scored two runs for Woodridge.

Zac Common had a single, an RBI, and earned his fifth win of the season in a Suburban League American Conference victory for the visiting Rough Riders (13-8, 6-4).

Emily Azzolina had a two-out, walk-off single to right-center field in the ninth inning to lift the Minutemen (11-6, 6-3) over the visiting Greenmen (8-6, 6-4).

Jaelyn Meade hit her sixth home run of the season, and Emily Lippe hit her second home run for the Blue Streaks (8-6, 3-5) in a Federal League win over the visiting Bulldogs.
