Akron police are investigating two shootings that happened this week.
The first occured about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 Block of Bisson Avenue. A 43-year-old man told police he was riding a bike when an unknown man in a white Infinity shot him in the leg.
The second was at 2 a.m. Thursday on Hammel Street. a 19-year-old man told officers he was walking when an unknown suspect shot him in the arm.
Both men were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police don’t think the two incidents are linked, said Capt. Daniel Zampelli, a police spokesman.
