Residents of Green who purchase water from the city’s supplier had their service restored early Thursday after a water main break the previous night caused a disruption, according to the city’s Facebook page.
The city posted an announcement shortly before 7 a.m. confirming service was restored after the break left residents without pressure at about 11 p.m. Wednesday. No boil alert was issued.
Aqua Ohio, a Massillon company, provides water to the city. Statewide, the company has about 500,000 customers in 19 counties, including 35,000 in Summit and Stark counties.
