Senior Brian Cuppett scored the game-winning layup with 50 seconds remaining to give the visiting Knights (3-1, 1-0 North Coast League) a win over the Bengals (1-1, 0-1).
Cuppett scored to put the Knights ahead 53-49 with less than a minute remaining in the game. The Knights held on after a Bengals field goal for their first league win of the season.
Junior Collen Gurley scored 22 points and Cuppett finished with 12 points and six rebounds for the Knights.
Ellet 64, Kenmore 51
Senior Marquis Smith’s 16 points led the host Orangemen (5-0, 3-0) to a City Series win over the Cardinals.
Seniors A.J. Gareri and Marquise Bridges each scored 12 points for the Orangemen, and senior Thomas Woods led the Cardinals with 18 points.
Gareri scored his 1,000th career point on his first field goal of the game.

Senior Tre’Maine Gray scored 32 points and the visiting Falcons (3-4, 3-0) defeated the Dragons (2-3, 2-1) in a City Series game.
Junior Kendrick Buckley scored 15 points and senior Darius Lewis and sophomore Derveonte Russell each added 13 points for the Dragons. Ricky Evans scored 16 points for the Falcons.

Sophomore Storm Cherry scored 32 points, including six 3-pointers, and junior Paris Blackshear added 23 points for the visiting Golden Rams (1-5, 1-3) in a City Series rout of the Vikings (0-5, 0-3).

Senior Logan Lindsay scored 22 points, including six 3-pointers, and the host Bulldogs (3-0, 2-0 Suburban League-National Conference) rolled the Knights (0-4, 0-1).
Sophomore Evan Bainbridge scored 14 points for the Bulldogs, and junior Drew Petros led the Knights with 17 points.

Junior Christian Szalay scored 15 points, junior Tony Hewitt added 14 points and the host Grizzlies (2-3, 1-1) defeated the Black Tigers (3-3, 1-2) in a Suburban-National game.
Junior Dion Davis led the Black Tigers with 15 points.

Logan Hill’s 13 points led five double-figure scorers for the visiting Polar Bears (3-0, 2-0) in a Federal League win over the Panthers (1-3, 1-2).

Jim Kirven scored a team-high 20 points and went 6-for-6 from the foul line to lead the host Blue Streaks (3-1, 2-0) to a Federal League win over the Golden Eagles (1-3, 0-2). Trajen Wood led the Golden Eagles with 29 points.
