Meet ‘Field of Dreams’ actor
Remember the last scene in Field of Dreams, when Kevin Costner’s character and his father finally “have a catch?” (We’ll wait while our guy readers wipe a manly tear or two.) Dwier Brown, who played the father, has written a book about his childhood growing up on a farm in Medina County, his acting career and how his brief but indelible appearance in the movie changed his life. He’ll be signing If You Build It … A Book about Fathers, Fate and Field of Dreams from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at All Star Sports Gallery in Summit Mall.
