CLEVELAND: The mother of a 24-year-old Cleveland man who was fatally shot while driving along Interstate 90 last week believes her son may have been targeted in the attack.
Michelle Norris, the mother of Jamel Greene, tells Cleveland.com that Friday’s shooting wasn’t the first time that her son has been in a gunman’s crosshairs.
Norris says a lot of people didn’t like her son because he didn’t go looking for trouble, although it always seemed to find him.
Police say Greene was driving westbound on I-90 near downtown Cleveland when another driver pulled up alongside his vehicle and opened fire.
No suspects have been identified in Greene’s murder, Cleveland’s 120th homicide this year.
Norris believes the person who first failed to kill her son wouldn’t stop until he was dead.
