Akron firefighters extinguished a basement fire Wednesday morning at 188 Tudor Ave.
Firefighters were called to the fire at 7:55 a.m. The fire was knocked down quickly, according to a news release.
Utilities to the address were shut off.
No additional information was available.
The address is in a residential neighborhood north of East Market Street and west of Canton Road/state Route 91.
