A 65-year-old Alliance woman was killed in a crash Sunday night on U.S. Route 62 in Nimishillen Township, according to the Canton Repository.
Sally Pacheco died in the two-vehicle crash at Broadway Avenue and Route 62.
The Repository reported that a vehicle failed to yield before turning in front of Pacheco’s car, which was also carrying four children, resulting in the crash.
All the crash victims were taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment. None of the children in Pacheco’s car were seriously hurt. The driver of the other vehicle sustained serious injuries.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
