Bieber takes heat on Instagram
Justin Bieber threatened to go private on Instagram after getting negative comments from fans of ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez on pictures he posted alongside Sofia Richie.
One picture included the caption, “I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”
The caption sparked more criticism from some, reportedly including Gomez herself. Others defended Bieber.
Richie is the daughter of singer Lionel Richie and the sister of former reality star Nicole Richie.
Comic’s ‘Nightly Show’ canceled
Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore is coming to an end. The late-night humor and talk show, which premiered in January 2015, will conclude its run Thursday, the network announced Monday.
The program, which filled the slot vacated by Stephen Colbert when he jumped to CBS, sought to explore current events and larger life issues as presided over by Wilmore, who previously served as “senior black correspondent” on The Daily Show.
Actor is proud of famous sons
Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard feels his sons are talented actors, but it’s more important to him that they’re “nice people.” While promoting the U.S. release of In Order of Disappearance, the 65-year-old actor spoke proudly that Alexander, Bill, Valter and Gustaf have gracefully handled the challenge of following in his footsteps while being “good humans.”
“If I would hear that my kids misbehaved and treated people badly on the set that would be much more upsetting than if their films bombed or they got humiliated because of a bad performance,” Skarsgard said.
Alexander recently starred in The Legend of Tarzan. Bill was in Allegiant and will star in the Divergent television series. Then there’s Gustaf, who appears in the Vikings TV series, and Valter, who has a few movies and a television series under his belt.
